The Sweet Health Benefits of Honey

What could be "...Sweeter than honey and the honeycomb!"

Honey is sweet AND good for you!

Honey tastes sweeter than white sugar because of its high fructose content. Other substances in honey providing health benefits include antioxidants, pollen, vitamins, and minerals such as magnesium and potassium.

Honey also scores lower on the glycemic index (GI), which may help keep blood sugar levels for diabetics more stable.

Plus, not only can honey be used as as a cough suppressant and allergy relief but honey can be used topically. Research has shown great benefits when applied on wounds, ulcers, burns, and dermatitis.

So what is sweeter?

Only six things are sweeter. The law, the testimony, the statutes, the commandment, the fear, and the judgments of the Lord. When these six are desired more than honey and kept first in life then there is great reward.

Do you want to start off the New Year to a better life? Do you want to wipe the slate clean? Do you want to do what you know to be right?

Make Psalms 19:14 your prayer...

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
